Small Business Owners Learn About Grant Opportunities at “Fun with Funding” Workshop in Lima

The City of Lima is paving the way for small business owners to thrive with their “Fun with Funding” workshop held at the Lima Public Library. The event, which took place on Saturday morning, showcased the various grant opportunities available to companies within the city limits.

During the workshop, owners were given valuable information on the seven different programs offered by the city, including the requirements needed to qualify for each grant and how to properly fill out the applications. According to Lima officials, these funding opportunities have already made a significant impact on many local businesses.

Amber Martin, the city’s Workforce and Small Business Development Coordinator, highlighted some success stories resulting from the grants, such as improvements to building exteriors through the Better Blocks for Business program and support for businesses like ABC 123 Enrichment Center, Bob’s Cleaner’s, and Burns Dental.

For more information on the grants available to small business owners in Lima, visit the city’s website. This initiative is just one of the many ways the city is supporting local businesses and fostering economic growth in the community.
