Planit Wins Two Awards at PRSA Maryland’s Best in Maryland Awards Gala
Planit Agency Wins Two Awards at Best in Maryland Awards Gala
Baltimore-based advertising agency, Planit, is celebrating a successful night at the Best in Maryland Awards Gala hosted by the Public Relations Society of America Maryland Chapter. The agency took home two prestigious awards for their outstanding work in media relations and influencer communication.
The first award, an Award of Excellence in the category of Media Relations — For Profit, was presented to Planit for their work with Sheetz. The agency helped promote Sheetz’s Fourth of July gas deal, resulting in record-breaking amounts of gallons of gas sold by the convenience chain. The campaign generated nearly 6,000 media placements, over 1.2 billion impressions, and more than $6.05 million in earned media value.
The second award, Best in Maryland for Best Use of Influencer Communication, was given to Planit for their influencer marketing campaign for Minute Rice’s microwavable cups. The campaign achieved a reach of 6.7 million people, over 7 million video views, and over 1 million social media engagements. Strategic boosting allowed the brand to target a younger demographic successfully.
“We are extremely proud to be recognized by the PRSA Maryland Chapter for our work with Sheetz and Minute Rice,” said Matt Doud, president and co-founder of Planit. “These awards reflect the dedication and passion our team brings to the table every day for each of our clients.”
Planit is known for its bold, creative, and smart approach to advertising and has worked with clients such as Toro, DuPont, and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. The agency continues to receive industry recognition for its innovative campaigns and strategic approach to marketing.
Congratulations to Planit on their well-deserved awards at the Best in Maryland Awards Gala!
