LATEST DEFENSE CONTRACT AWARDS – MAY 2024
Defense contracts valued at $7.5 million and above have been awarded to various companies to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Q-Coded Support and Services-Next Generation (MQS2-NG) program. The contracts have a maximum cumulative ceiling of $43 billion and will provide health care professional staff services to DHA hospitals, clinics, and dental facilities across the United States and its territories.
The contracts were awarded to companies such as The Arora Group Inc., KBR Wyle Services LLC, and Loyal Source Government Services LLC, among others. These companies will recruit, qualify, manage, and provide qualified medical contract staff for direct patient care and support services within the DHA facilities.
In addition, the Air Force has awarded contracts to companies such as Boeing Co., Lockheed Martin Corp., and Sikorsky Aircraft for various projects including KC-46 commodities depot activation support, space systems engineering, and combat rescue helicopter upgrades.
The Navy has also awarded contracts to companies like The Boeing Co., Lockheed Martin Corp., and DRS Laurel Technologies for projects related to aircraft inductions, submarine electronic warfare systems, and shipyard availability for emergency dry docking.
Furthermore, the Army has awarded contracts to companies such as General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Colt’s Manufacturing Co. LLC, and Vertex Aerospace LLC for research, development, test, and evaluation of Artificial Intelligence, carbines, and mission support services.
