Vested Hires Abby Trexler as Managing Director of South Florida
Financial marketing and communications specialist firm Vested has made a strategic hire, bringing Abby Trexler on board as the managing director of South Florida. With over 20 years of experience in strategic consulting, media relations, marketing, and crisis communications, Trexler is set to lead Vested’s growing practice in South Florida, focusing on key markets such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach.
Trexler’s impressive track record includes working with top brands such as Apex, Invesco, S&P Global, and BNY Mellon. Prior to joining Vested, she served as EVP on the New York financial services team at Edelman Smithfield, a part of DJE Holdings. Her previous experience also includes seven years at Peppercomm and marketing and communications agency Hot Paper Lantern.
Vested’s decision to bring Trexler on board follows the recent hire of Ted Birkhahn as managing director in New York. With a client portfolio that includes major names like Morgan Stanley, American Express, and Goldman Sachs, Vested reported a revenue increase of 5% globally and 4% in the U.S. in 2023.
