Brandtech Appoints Rachel Barnes as Director of Communications to Publicize Generative AI Marketing Strategies
Brandtech, a leading marketing firm specializing in generative AI-based strategies, has appointed Rachel Barnes as its new director of communications. Barnes, who brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Wolff Olins and M&C Saatchi London, will be responsible for publicizing Brandtech’s innovative AI marketing platform, Pencil.
With a background in trade journalism and a keen understanding of the advertising and marketing industries, Barnes is well-equipped to lead Brandtech’s communications strategy. She will work closely with Brandtech associate partner Louise Jack to develop a cohesive content strategy that showcases the company’s expertise in generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
Brandtech, which counts Unilever, Bayer, and Hotel Chocolat among its clients, has been at the forefront of AI-driven marketing since 2016. However, founder and CEO David Jones acknowledges that the company has been lagging behind in promoting its innovative products and services. With Barnes on board, Brandtech aims to raise awareness of its generative AI marketing platform and demonstrate the impact it has had on over 5,000 brands since its launch in 2018.
Jones, a former global chief executive of Havas Group, founded Brandtech (formerly known as You & Mr Jones) in 2015. The company has since worked with major clients such as Google, TikTok, Paypal, and Microsoft, solidifying its reputation as a leader in AI-based marketing solutions.
Barnes expressed her excitement about the potential of generative AI in transforming the marketing and advertising industry, stating that Brandtech is well-positioned to capitalize on this disruptive technology. With her expertise and Brandtech’s innovative approach to AI marketing, the company is poised to make a significant impact in the industry.
