eBay Appoints Gigi Ganatra Duff as Chief Communications Officer
eBay, Hertz, and Reliant Holdings Announce New Chief Communications Officers
In a series of recent announcements, three major companies have appointed new chief communications officers to lead their global communications strategies.
eBay has named Gigi Ganatra Duff as its new chief communications officer. Duff will be responsible for overseeing the company’s internal and external communications, social media, public affairs, ESG communications, the eBay Foundation, and content. With a background in corporate communications, social impact, public affairs, and brand PR, Duff brings a wealth of experience to her new role at eBay. Prior to joining eBay, she served as VP of corporate affairs at Nordstrom.
Meanwhile, car rental company Hertz has hired Lauren Fritts as senior VP and chief communications officer. Fritts will focus on strengthening Hertz’s brand narrative, enhancing internal and external communications, and driving impact communications. With nearly two decades of experience in communications and marketing, Fritts previously served as chief corporate affairs and marketing officer at WeWork.
Lastly, Reliant Holdings, soon to be Onar Holding Corporation, has appointed Sara Wetmore as its new corporate communications and marketing leader. Wetmore will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s global marketing and communications strategy, driving brand awareness, and supporting business growth. With over 10 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry, Wetmore has previously held senior positions at Rightpoint and The Nature Conservancy.
These appointments signal a strategic focus on communications and brand storytelling for these companies as they continue to navigate the evolving business landscape.
