Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce Hosts Government Contracting Conference in Richmond on April 25

The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host its inaugural government contracting conference in Richmond on April 25. Co-founders Tracey J. Hall and Ernisha M. Hall are excited to provide a platform for Black business owners to learn the ins and outs of securing government contracts.

With a lineup of esteemed speakers, including Ron Busby Sr., Shekela Hutchinson, and William Randolph, attendees can expect presentations on proposal writing, business financing, and marketing strategies. The event aims to cater to both newcomers and seasoned professionals in the field of government contracting.

As of April 17, around 150 individuals have already registered for the conference, with a cap set at 200 attendees. Tracey Hall emphasized the importance of empowering and growing Black-owned businesses, citing the success of their Virginia Black Business Directory and upcoming Virginia Black Business Expo and Conference in August.
