“Federal Contracting 101 Training Series: Preparing Your Business for Procurement Success”
The CNMI Small Business Development Center Network is offering a unique opportunity for local businesses to enhance their capacity and competitiveness in the federal contracting arena. The upcoming training session, titled “Federal Contracting 101: Pre-positioning Your Business to Be Procurement-ready,” will provide valuable insights and tools for businesses looking to secure military and federal contracts.
Participants in this two-part training series will learn essential skills such as registering in SAM.gov, developing Capability Statements, and crafting impactful narratives to showcase their strengths and capabilities. The goal is to empower attendees with the necessary skills to effectively compete for contracts and opportunities in the federal marketplace.
To ensure maximum benefit from the training, participants are required to meet certain prerequisites and bring specific documents, such as a business license, bank statements, and proof of physical address. The training sessions will also cover key elements of Capability Statements, including tailoring them to specific audiences and opportunities.
The training sessions are scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Northern Marianas College Campus. Registration is free but space is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to sign up early.
