Lisa Frank, co-founder of the brand consultancy Derris, has been promoted to CEO of the company. Frank, who founded the agency along with Jesse Derris in 2013, will now be responsible for leading the agency’s new line of businesses, including creative, content, experiential, and influencer marketing. Jesse Derris will transition from the CEO role to a chairman position, as well as serving as chief strategy officer at Orchestra, Derris’ parent company.
Under Frank’s leadership, Derris has helped to launch and scale over 25 brands, including Warby Parker, Everlane, SKIMS, rhode, and Glossier. The agency has also maintained an impressive 71 percent employee retention rate, with many team members who started in entry-level roles now part of the senior leadership team.
This promotion highlights Frank’s dedication and expertise in the industry, as well as her commitment to driving the agency’s international growth strategy. With her at the helm, Derris is poised for continued success and innovation in the world of brand consultancy.
