Changeis Appoints Former FAA Leader Rick Garceau as Vice President
Former Federal Aviation Administration leader, Rick Garceau, has been appointed as the new vice president at Changeis, a leading company in the aviation industry. With over four decades of experience in air traffic control management, safety management, technical training, and space or UAS new entrant operations, Garceau is set to bring his expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities for Changeis.
In his new role, Garceau will also be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and driving overall revenue growth for the company. Prior to joining Changeis, he worked at Aviation Management Associates as a senior associate, where he provided comprehensive management services to government and commercial customers.
As a U.S. Air Force veteran, Garceau brings a wealth of knowledge in actionable strategy, execution, capture, program capture, and personnel management to his new position. Changeis President, Varun Malhotra, expressed his confidence in Garceau’s ability to understand the FAA’s evolving needs and deliver transformative solutions.
This appointment comes on the heels of Changeis securing a $103 million FAA award for the second iteration of the Air Traffic Organization technical analysis and program support contract. The company will provide technical analysis, planning, and management support to ATO directorates in support of agency missions. The ATAPS II contract aims to support the FAA’s operational arm, which ensures the safe and efficient movement of nearly 45,000 IFR-certified flights per day.
With Garceau at the helm, Changeis is poised to continue its success in the aviation industry and provide innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the FAA.
