Building Digital Solidarity: The State Department’s Approach to Cyber Collaboration and Global Alliances
The United States is taking steps to strengthen its relationships with allies in order to navigate the ever-evolving geopolitical landscape. The State Department recently published the U.S. International Cyberspace and Digital Policy Strategy, which aims to create a secure and rights-respecting digital future. To combat these threats, the State Department has identified four action areas: building a resilient digital ecosystem, promoting compatible digital governance, establishing norms for responsible state behavior in cyberspace, and supporting international partners in setting digital policies and expanding cyber capacity.
